Salmon Developments has secured a 20,000 sq ft warehouse pre-let to safety equipment supplier Gunnebo at Ashdown Business Park, Maresfield, near Uckfield, East Sussex and has purchased a 1-acre site from estate owners Summerthorne Estates Limited.

Salmon will begin construction of the single-storey property immediately with completion in mid-2018after Gunnebo signed a 15-year lease paying an annual rent of £177,000 a year. The project will be worth £3.5 million on completion.

Doug Stewart of Salmon Developments said: “This is a superb example of Salmon’s knowledge of the occupational market combined with its ability to source first class product off market.”

Ashdown Business Park is located at the junction of the A272 and the A22 offering excellent links to the south coast and other major Sussex towns.
