FRENCH CLOTHING BRAND PETIT BATEAU SECURES NEW PARIS STORE IN THE MARAIS

July 26, 2017

French retailer Petit Bateau, advised by KLM Retail, has boosted its Paris store portfolio by taking over the lease of 6 Rue Des Francs Bourgeois from Karen Millen.

The deal allows Petit Bateau to expand its presence in the French capital’s Marais district, securing a 1,300 sq ft flagship store on one of Paris’ premier retail streets. The retailer opened the new store on Rue Des Francs Bourgeois in June, joining other premium brands including Acqua Di Parma, Bobbi Brown, American Vintage and Mac.

Petit Bateau has developed into a leading French clothing brand since its birth in 1893 with the opening of a hosiery factory in Troyes, near Paris. It has enjoyed significant growth in recent years and continues to extend its global reach.

Petit Bateau was represented by KLM Retail. Karen Millen was advised by Harper Dennis Hobbs.
