ARLINGTON SECURES MAJOR OFFICE PRE-LET AT GLOUCESTER BUSINESS PARK

Arlington has secured one of the West Country’s largest office pre-let for over a decade at its Gloucester Business Park.

The leading UK business park and logistics investor and developer has signed a 15 year agreement to lease with Ecclesiastical Insurance Office plc, one of Gloucestershire largest employers, to develop a new 65,000 sq ft headquarters at the Gloucester Business Park.

Creating a working environment which puts staff wellbeing and satisfaction front and central is becoming ever more critical, and we are delighted that Ecclesiastical Insurance have put their trust in us to deliver this exciting period of change for their business.”

Mark Hews, Group Chief Executive of Ecclesiastical Insurance, said: “This is an exciting moment for us in the delivery of our long-term ambitions. The new site will provide modern and spacious accommodation for our colleagues, providing them with an environment where they can thrive.”

Ecclesiastical has been based in Gloucester since the 1970s and with strong links to the city is very much committed to remaining in the Gloucester area. Arlington will now be seeking planning approval for the new building and development of the new HQ will commence in 2019, with completion expected during 2020 with the move to take place before the end of that year.
