CBREGi, advised by Nash Bond, has secured an upsize of Brompton’s London flagship store in Acre House, 69-76 Long Acre, Covent Garden.
The iconic British folding bike company has taken a 10-year lease on the 2,500 sq ft unit 6 within the building, which has frontage onto Long Acre and is near the junction with Drury Lane. The store comprises 1,045 sq ft ground floor sales and 1,405 sq ft lower ground repair and ancilliary space.
David Burland of WRC represented Brompton.
Branded as a ‘Brompton Junction’ store, it remains the only standalone shop in the capital.
‘Brompton is one of the UK’s most successful global retailers and their commitment to Covent Garden and Long Acre, especially after the last year is inspiring. The new flagship will expand on their customer engagement and showcase their hugely successful electric bike range,” said John Lyons of Nash Bond.
