Berkeley Capital, advised by GCW and Bruce Gillingham Pollard, has signed Boom Battle Bar, a market leading competitive socialising operator, at its Goodman’s Fields development in Aldgate East, London.
Located close to the four-screen Curzon cinema within the estate, Boom Battle Bar has taken 8,000 sq ft on a new 15-year lease.
Philippe Micheal from GCW commented: “Boom Battle Bar is leading the way in the UK experiential leisure sector and Goodman’s Fields will be home to its City of London Flagship. The brand is pushing the boundaries of competitive socialising and we are confident that this venue will be a big draw for city workers, further complementing the wider leisure offer within the development.”
Goodman’s Fields is a seven-acre, award winning mixed-use development in the heart of Aldgate East. Moments away from the city of London, it incorporates 1,000 new homes, a 250 bed hotel, 650 student rooms and two acres of public open space.
Goodman’s Fields boasts in excess of 513,000 office workers within a seven-minute walking distance and the only boutique cinema in E1, the Curzon.
Other operators include Amazon Fresh, Zia Lucia, Sainsbury’s, Premier Inn and Leman Street Tavern (Young & Co.’s Brewery, PLC) along with a new 25,000 sq ft NHS practice.
