REDEVCO LETS FINAL UNIT IN SHOREDITCH

Redevco, one of the largest privately-owned real estate investment managers in Europe, has completed the leasing of its Shoreditch holdings after securing a lease with US lifestyle brand Free People.

The Philadelphia-based brand Free People, part of URBN Group, has selected Redevco’s 25-27 Redchurch Street as the location for its latest London store. Redevco has signed a 10-year lease with the retailer which completes a series of high-profile lettings in one of the capital’s most desirable locations.

Redevco’s parade of five Shoreditch boutiques have proved hugely popular with tenants keen to exploit the appeal of the thriving East End market which is a hotspot for growing creative brands which include Reformation, Nudie Jeans and APC

Claire Yeadon, Redevco Asset Manager, said: “This letting will further boost the street’s vibrant offer and appeal to the Shoreditch catchment. It reflects the level of occupier appetite for quality space in the right location.”

Redevco was advised by Shackleton Property and McDevitt advised URBN Group.
