BLACK TAP CRAFT BURGERS TARGETS LONDON

December 7, 2022

Gillingham Bell International and Highland Global have been jointly appointed by New York-based Black Tap craft burgers and beers to manage its expansion into London in the next phase of an ambitious global roll out.

The business which has sites in New York, Las Vegas, Dubai, Singapore and Geneva was founded by New York entrepreneur Chris Barish in 2015 in Soho (NYC) and he has now teamed up with Sunny Kooner to bring this highly successful venture to London.

The company is looking initially for three prime sites in Central London of between 3,000 sq ft and 4,000 sq ft and it hopes to open the first location by the summer of 2023.

Mr Kooner is a successful British entrepreneur who is the founder and MD of the Old Northampton Group which owns several restaurants and properties in the UK. For 16 years before that, he was director for a US Investment Bank.  His key passion is F&B, and he opened his first cocktail bar in 2009 and subsequently founded ONG.  He has put together an incredible team for the UK including Marcel Khan.
