Helios Logistics GmbH has signed a 10-year pre-lease agreement with Simpex for a 46,000 sq m warehouse at its AyKa Helios Logistics Park, adjacent to Vienna Airport in Austria.
Simpex is the logistics arm of international retailer Spar. Construction of the 80,000 sq m park will start next month with completion scheduled for March 2024.
Helios Logistics European Development Director Natalie Lever said: “We are delighted to have signed a pre-let with Simpex for over half of the available space. We have a good relationship with Spar and hope to build on it going forward. AyKa Helios Logistics Park is the first scheme in our joint venture with AyKa Group which is the platform we have established to expand our activity in Europe.”
AyKa Helios Logistics Park is an 80,000 sq m development on a 22-hectare site at Vienna Airport.
