HASLAMS SURVEYORS AGREES SALE OF COOKHAM DEVELOPMENT SITE TO BELLWAY HOMES

Haslams Surveyors LLP has completed the sale of an 18-acre residential development site in Cookham, Berkshire to Bellway Homes.

The freehold site, adjacent to Lower Mount Farm, extends to approximately 18.19 acres (7.36 ha) and occupies a prime position on the western side of Cannondown Road at the south‑western edge of Cookham. It has the benefit of planning consent for 200 dwellings including 80 much-needed affordable homes.

Having been promoted through the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead’s Local Plan process, the site was allocated for residential development.

Chris Newman, partner at Haslams Surveyors said: “This sale is the culmination of nine years’ work which involved extensive public consultation and community engagement and negotiations with the Royal Borough and other relevant bodies to secure a successful planning outcome. There was strong interest from a wide range of housebuilders for this site.”

Haslams Surveyors acted as sole agent on the disposal.
