Angle Property has launched the sale of Charlton Place in Andover after securing outline planning permission for the 130-home town-centre residential redevelopment.
Haslams Surveyors LLP has been brought in to market the 6.44-hectare (15.91-acre) freehold site which has outline consent for up to 130 homes, comprising a mix of one and two-bedroom flats, together with two, three and four-bedroom houses. There is no requirement to provide affordable housing at this stage.
Neil Seager, Partner at Haslams Surveyors said: “Being within easy walking distance of the town centre, future homeowners will be perfectly placed to enjoy everything the area has to offer. Test Valley’s wider town‑centre regeneration plans will further enhance this already convenient location, with major initiatives including a new theatre, improved pedestrian access to the riverside, and the creation of an attractive new park.
“The town centre’s growing mix of independent shops, well‑known retailers, cafés, and local eateries will also be just a short stroll away, providing an excellent range of everyday amenities and leisure options.
“We expect strong interest in this unique opportunity.”
Located on the north side of the town, Charlton Place is within a short walk of Andover’s retail core, leisure centre, and its railway station, which provides an excellent service to London Waterloo. The town also benefits from excellent road links to the M3, M4 and M27 corridors.
Currently a redundant 1980’s office and training complex, Charlton Place is being brought to the market for sale with vacant possession available. No guide price is being given.
