Span Group and Pearl & Coutts secure global sportswear brand alongside The Traitors:Live Experience
New Balance has signed for 4,692 sq ft at Arclight, Shorts Gardens, Covent Garden, establishing its new London office and becoming the anchor occupier at the landmark redevelopment by Span Group in partnership with Pearl & Coutts.
The sports brand has taken the entire first floor on a 10-year lease, with a tenant break at year five, at a rent of £75.50 per sq ft. CBRE advised New Balance while Bluebook and RX London represented Span Group.
The letting marks a significant milestone for Arclight, a 30,000 sq ft sensitively refurbished Victorian building at 60 Shorts Gardens, Seven Dials. Originally housing generators for the theatre district, the scheme has been repositioned to deliver high-quality office and experiential space in the heart of Covent Garden.
Alongside New Balance, the building will also be home to The Traitors: Live Experience, an immersive, playable version of the hit television show and artificial intelligence company Poolside AI.
The 3,309 sq ft third and 3,275 sq ft fourth floors remain available either in Cat A condition or fully fitted.
