Paul Matthews, who has more than 24 years experience in the property markets of the South West and South Wales has been appointed head of Atisreal’s Bristol office.
The former head of Fuller Peiser’s and Chesterton’s Bristol office replaces Robert Orrett who has moved on to a broader remit for the South West and Wales.
Matthews, a rating and lease advisory director whose clients include Invista, Travis Perkins and Royal Mail said: “My role is to ensure that the Bristol office becomes one of the leading agency and advisory players in the market. To do this we will continue to increase our standing amongst investors and developers in the office and industrial sectors, as well as continuing to provide a top class service for our corporate clients.”
Matthews who was also previously with British Rail Property Board, and Bruton Knowles in Gloucester, added: “I am enthused by the strong team of people I have around me. We have a very outward looking and creative agency team and a very strong and well respected valuation team. In addition we also boast a very wide range of other services which for a regional office, is an important selling point.”
Having finally retired from playing rugby, Matthews has taken up golf, and recently began dingy sailing again.
