FURNITURE VILLAGE MOVES INTO KINGSTON ROAD RETAIL PARK, SURREY

CB Richard Ellis Investors, on behalf of Hampshire County Council Pension Fund, advised by Edgerley Simpson Howe, has let a retail warehouse unit at 150, Kingston Road, New Malden to Furniture Village.

The unit, formerly occupied by Currys, comprises approximately 16,080 sq ft of space and has been let to Furniture Village on a new 20-year lease at an initial rent rate of £26.00 per sq ft. Currys has simultaneously surrendered its leasehold interest and relocated into a new Curry’s megastore at nearby Burlington Road.

The other retailer at the two-unit retail park is Carpetright.

Furniture Village was represented by CWM. Montagu Evans represented Currys.
