Cult and sister brand Superdry will open its largest ever store in the UK at Capital Shopping Centre’s Lakeside Shopping Centre, Essex.
The contemporary clothing and accessories brand, which forms part of SuperGroup Plc, has taken an 18,120 sq ft store on a 10 year lease. Cult and Superdry will join other fashion stores including Hugo Boss, All Saints and Zara at Lakeside which is anchored by House of Fraser, Debenhams, and Marks & Spencer.
Jonathan Ainsley, director of asset management at Capital Shopping Centres said: “Cult and the Superdry brand are at the cutting edge of fashion retail, and it is testimony to Lakeside’s pulling power that it is was chosen as the location for its largest UK store.”
Julian Dunkerton, CEO of SuperGroup, commented: “We are thrilled to be opening our largest store to date at the popular Lakeside Shopping Centre. We’re sure to be able to cater to the demands of the huge numbers of people this shopping centre attracts.”
