May 14, 2010
The shortlist for the Variety Club’s Property Awards, “the PROPS” which will be presented at its annual lunch at the London Hilton on Tuesday 18th May, includes the usual array of property stars and a sporting bias with nominations for two Premier League football club owners and the new roof at Wimbledon.
The PROPS recognises individuals and companies that have excelled in the property industry; nine awards will be presented. Founded in 1992 by Neil Sinclair and Ronnie Nathan, the PROPS has raised more than £6m for the Variety Club’s Easy Rider Wheelchair Programme; the recent provision of sports wheelchairs is helping the UK effort to hopefully excel in the Paralympics 2012.
The 2010 Awards will be hosted by comedian and Hollywood actor Omid Djalili, with special guests Miss World, Kaiane Aldorino and the new PROPS ambassador and recent law graduate Matthew King LLB, who was unfortunately paralysed in his first professional rugby match.
