G Star Raw will join the St David’s fashion mix when it opens its first store in Wales on the 21st of September.
The denim fashion brand will open a 6,251 sq ft store close to other fashion retailers Hollister, Guess and Jane Norman in the Cardiff shopping centre’s Grand Arcade.
G Star Raw has outlets in 16 cities around the UK; the St David’s store will be operated by Diffusion Franchises, which regards it as an excellent addition to its already impressive mono-brand portfolio.
Gerald Bailey, director, Diffusion Franchises said, “It is an exciting opportunity to be part of St David’s because it’s an impressive centre and we are in an excellent location. Looking ahead, St David’s is helping Cardiff to become a leading European shopping destination and we are happy to be part of that.”
Joanne Skilton, of Capital Shopping Centres (CSC), on behalf of St David’s Partnership, the joint venture between CSC and Land Securities, said: “G Star is a strong brand and will be an excellent addition to our fashion offering on the upper level, and again, we’re delighted to bring the best names in retail to Wales.”
