Nafield Properties, a joint venture between Turnstone Estates and Burall Developments, has secured HLBBshaw Group PLC as its tenant at the Broers Buiding in Cambridge.
The European patent and trade mark attorneys have taken a 2,010 sq ft suite on the first floor of the speculatively developed office and R&D building, which is a part of the Hauser Forum on the University of Cambridge’s West Cambridge site. The occupier has signed a five year lease at an initial rent of £30 per sq ft.
HLBBshaw provides a comprehensive range of intellectual property services covering patents, trademarks, designs and copyright. The company will be joining other high profile tenants such as Nokia and Base 4 Innovation at the Broers Building.
Chris Goldsmith of Nafield Properties comments: “We are delighted to have signed HLLBshaw at the Broers Building, which offers a great working environment to companies, owing to its exclusive location on the University of Cambridge’s site. The building now boasts an enviable list of clients and there has been a lot of interest in the remaining to let area.”
The Broers Building forms part of a wider development known as the Hauser Forum, which has been developed by Nafield Properties in conjunction with the University of Cambridge. Other elements comprise a central café for the West Cambridge site and a building housing Cambridge Enterprise.
