Highcross acquires south Wales industrial estate

October 21, 2010

Highcross has acquired the Llandough Trading Estate near Cardiff from RREEF UK in a £4.95m deal.

The 16-acre estate includes 22 industrial/trade counter units, ranging from 5,190 sq ft – 13,340 sq ft. All units include single-storey office accommodation and a free communal car park is provided for occupiers, as well as parking at the units. The estate is located on Penarth Road, three miles south west of Cardiff city centre.

Highcross plans to improve the overall presentation of the estate and fully refurbish vacant units in line with occupier requirements.

Highcross associate director, Katie Whell, commented: “Llandough is a well-located, multi-let estate close to central Cardiff, with good opportunities to improve income through attracting new lettings and re-gearing existing leases. With flexible deals, competitive terms and a range of units available, the estate has a lot to offer businesses looking for new premises in the area.”
