The Potteries, Stoke-on-Trent’s leading shopping centre, owned by Capital Shopping Centres, will add to its fashion mix when Best Seller Retail’s Jack & Jones opens a new store at the centre this week.
Jack & Jones’s first store in the city will be the 2,077 sq ft unit adjacent to Wallis and opposite Topshop/Topman and JD sports. Best Seller Retail country manager, Andrew Farnham commented: “We’re looking forward to strong trading at The Potteries as there is a formidable men’s fashion market in the area and we see it as a good opportunity for Jack &Jones. The location of our new store also provides excellent shopper traffic in line with our target market.” This will be the most up-to-date Jack & Jones store design world-wide and will open on the 25th November.
This follows a recent letting to USC, which opened earlier this month on the Lower Mall adjacent to A Wear and opposite Tie Rack and The Fragrance Shop.
Martin Breeden, director of asset management (northern portfolio) at Capital Shopping Centres said: “Stoke-on-Trent has much to offer retailers and we are excited to bring new brands such as Jack & Jones to the area. We expect both new retailers to trade well, capitalising on The Potteries being the largest shopping destination between Manchester and Birmingham.”
Letting agents for The Potteries are Lunson Mitchenall and Tushingham Moore; Jack & Jones was represented by Harper Dennis Hobbs and USC by CBRE.
