Victoria Hall Limited has been named the UK’s best private halls provider in the National Student Housing Survey’s 2011 Accommodation Awards, announced this week by independent market research agency Red Brick Research. The award is the highest accreditation given in the vibrant and growing student accommodation sector.
Victoria Hall was also accredited with an International Accommodation Quality Mark.
The National Student Housing Survey is an annual survey of students in higher education across the UK and took in the views of more than 15,000 students from more than 120 universities and colleges who were asked to rate satisfaction levels in all types of accommodation.
The results of the report showed that overall 91% of students were satisfied or very satisfied with Victoria Hall. Location scored 89%. Condition and quality of the bedrooms scored 86% and range and quality of local amenities 84%. Victoria Hall owns and runs student halls of residence across the UK including Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Leicester, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, Wolverhampton and Sheffield as well as sites in Ireland, Germany and Spain. All bedrooms are ensuite and arranged in flats of between 2 and six bedrooms. All Victoria Hall locations are within minutes of the respective university campuses. Victoria Hall is one of the specialist operating businesses of the O’Flynn Group.
