Highcross achieves success at Kembrey Park, Swindon

Highcross has let five office units, totalling 6,103 sq ft, at its Pine Court development in Kembrey Park, Swindon. The units have all been let at a rent of £14 per sq ft and new occupiers include a nursery, providing a further extension to the facilities available to companies based at Kembrey Park.

Unit 3 has been let to FCS Computer Systems EMEA Ltd, an international solutions provider to the hotel industry, which has moved its Europe, Middle East and Africa division to Pine Court. The company has taken the 1,130 sq ft unit on a five-year year lease.

Optima Defence & Security, which specialises in developing end-to-end capability, equipment and training solutions for the military, police and counter-terrorism sectors, has taken Unit 2, on a five-year lease.

Also new to Pine Court, is Sandvine Consulting Services, a network policy control and solutions company, which has taken Unit 4  (1,130 sq ft), to give its Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific Region consultants, support staff and sales, an operational base for the first time.  Unit 9, (1,540 sq ft), has been let on a five-year lease to Independent Financial Adviser, Statehouse, and its associated companies Nicholas Brown Consultants (Accountants) and Purple Patch (Business Consultancy).

Highcross has also converted Unit 6 (1,173 sq ft) for Swindon nursery Oops-a-Daisy Childcare, providing a convenient, high quality service for companies based at the Park. The nursery, which provides childcare from birth to school age, and after school and holiday care up to eleven years, had been looking for larger premises and the unit at Pine Court provided the space it needed, with the potential for further expansion.

Highcross Director, Nick Turner, comments: “These latest lettings reflect the success of recent rent incentives at Pine Court, as well as the quality of the scheme, with its self-contained, well-specified office buildings. The units are ideal for occupiers which want to be part of a well established, managed business environment, with the added benefit of their own ‘front door’ and identity.”

KembreyBusiness Park provides 700,000 sq ft of business space, including office accommodation, warehouse and light industrial units. Facilities include 24-hour security, on-site management, meeting rooms and ample parking. A hotel, restaurant and health/fitness club are also located at the park.
