One of the country’s leading real estate law firms, Davitt Jones Bould has scooped two major awards this year at the 2013 Lawyer Awards. Significantly, the firm came second out of eight finalists in the Real Estate Team category – all other seven being City firms – and also won Boutique Firm of Year.
The awards ceremony was held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Mayfair on Tuesday 25th June and was attended by some 1500 lawyers representing the great and good in the legal world.
Davitt Jones Bould, which is headquartered in the South West, is the largest real estate law firm outside of London and the second largest in the country. It is mostly recognised for its work in the public sector being one of only seven firms approved by the Government Procurement Service for property and estates.
At the awards the firm was recognised for significant contributions to the enablement of over 40 Olympic events in the Royal Parks including beach volleyball on Horse Guards Parade. Additionally, the firm represented the Royal Parks in relation to the festival live site at Hyde Park.
Chief Executive, Peter Allinson, also collected the award on behalf of the firm in the Boutique Firm – National Category: “The real accolade is to be recognised as a force in real estate with so many respected names in the final line up; to get the prize for Boutique firm – National is the icing on the cake”.
