Kitchen La Frenais Morgan, the retail property specialist, has promoted Mark Bennett to the position of equity investment partner at the company.
Bennett has more than 13 years experiences in the retail investment property market having begun his career at GVA Grimley before moving to Colliers CRE. He joined Kitchen La Frenais Morgan as associate investment partner in 2008.
Bennet has been involved in all aspects of the retail investment market but with a particular focus on shopping centre investment. His role has included the sale and acquisitions of retail properties across the UK for property companies and UK institutional investors. Clients have included the likes of Ellandi, Tristan Capital Partners, West Register, Deutsche Wealth Management, Hermes, Henderson, Land Securities, and CBRE Global Investors.
Recent deals have included the acquisition of Bouverie Place Folkestone and The Swan Centre Eastleigh shopping centres on behalf of Ellandi LLP/Tristan Capital Partners for a total of £58 million; the sale of Cathedral Plaza shopping centre in Worcester on behalf of Land Securities for £24 million, and the acquisition of 9-15 Church Street, Liverpool for £30 million on behalf of Deutsche Wealth Management.
Bennett is also an associate of the RICS and a member of the British Council of Shopping Centres and the Shop Agents Society.
