Clients advised by The Deerbrook Group, represented by Bluebook, have let the third floor of 15,229 sq ft at Medius in Soho to Grapple Mobile Ltd (part of the Monitise Group) on a ten-year lease at £69.50 per sq ft.
The landlord, in conjunction with award winning architects ORMS, is refurbishing the 1st to 3rd floors, the entrance hall and common parts. The design takes the building back to its warehouse roots, exposing brick work and incorporating a new reception featuring an art installation by artist Susan MacMurray.
The first floor of 11,746 sq ft was let to Digital Post earlier this year, on a ten year lease at a rental of £67.50 per sq ft.
Joe Fuller, Partner at Bluebook, comments “Medius is one of the few buildings in Soho that provides genuine Grade A, converted warehouse space that many media occupiers are seeking. With 27,000 sq ft let during the refurbishment phase we are very confident in the letting prospects for the final floor of 12,145 sq ft which will be ready later this month.
The historic Medius building, which is located at 2 Sheraton Street, was originally built for the British Library in 1900 and has also been home to the Ivor Novello Studios.
Grapple Mobile Ltd were advised by Juniper Real Estate, Digital Post were advised by Devono
