Salmon Properties has received planning permission from the London Borough of Sutton for its £18m, 94,000 sq ft Sovereign project at Kimpton Industrial Park in Sutton, south west London.
Salmon proposes two industrial/ warehouse units comprising 78,000 sq ft and 16,000 sq ft and work will commence speculatively this autumn with the buildings available for occupation in 12 months’ time.
JLL and Stiles Harold Williams have been appointed as joint letting agents and are seeking pre-lets at rents in excess of £12 per sq ft. Both buildings will be built to a high specification and will achieve BREEAM Excellent rating.
Pat Mahoney of Salmon comments: “We have decided to get these buildings out of the ground in order to help meet the shortfall of new, large and high quality space within the south west quadrant of London and the South East generally.”
