Danish footwear brand ECCO Shoes has signed up for a new store at intu Bromley as part of its UK expansion plans which will see it open 10 more in the 12-18 months.
ECCO, advised by its retained property advisor Harper Dennis Hobbs (HDH), has taken a 1,500 sq ft shop at intu Bromley on a 10 year lease. The shop is due to be open in September.
ECCO’s UK managing director David Butler commented: “This is an exciting time for ECCO in the UK where we have a particularly strong foothold and a powerful brand presence.”
Amanda O’Flaherty of HDH added: “Following the successful acquisition of Bromley and Metrocentre, we have six new stores already in the pipeline for ECCO and the company has plans for a further five or six next year spread across the country.”
The Bromley store takes ECCO’s UK presence to 42 stores.
