DOORS OPEN AT SALMON HARVESTER’S MULBERRY WALK

Salmon Harvester Properties’ (SHP) eagerly awaited Mulberry Walk Development in Mere Green, Sutton Coldfield opened doors last week, with additional letting to Warren’s Bakery, the oldest Cornish Pasty producer in the World, confirmed.

The completion of new areas of public realm, such as external seating for restaurant units on a new pedestrian walkway, a village square and a dedicated 75 space car park, ensure that the of 55,361 sq ft retail and leisure space provides a totally new customer experience.

A series of openings by key tenants including Renato Lounge, the latest outlet from independent café bar and restaurant chain Loungers, and leading optician, Specsavers, has seen the scheme come closer to achieving its ambition to be the new town centre of Birmingham’s most fashionable suburbs.  

The openings follow the signing of Warren’s Bakery for a 1,000 sq ft shop on a 10-year lease at £25,000 a year. Mulberry Walk is now 65 per cent let with only a single and double restaurant remaining. Other occupiers scheduled to open include Marks & Spencer Simply Food, Boots, Greene King, Prezzo, Café Nero and Card Factory.
