SALMON HARVESTER STARTS CONSTRUCTION OF CAMBRIDGE SOUTH INDUSTRIAL SCHEME

Salmon Harvester Properties (SHP) has commenced construction of its 68,000 sq ft speculative industrial/warehousing scheme known as Cambridge South, Sawston, Cambridgeshire.

The building contract has been completed with Marbank Construction Limited and practical completion is programmed for Q1 2019.

SHP is funding the 13-unit development from its own financial resources and intends to sell when built with a gross development value in excess of £12M.

Salmon Director Pat Mahoney said: “With Cambridge continuing as one of the leading cities in the UK but with very few industrial developments in recent years, we are delighted to be delivering newly built space into a hungry occupational market.”

Savills and Carter Jonas are advising SHP on lettings.
