Porterfield PR Supports Property Week Cup 2019

February 28, 2019

Porterfield PR is proud to be sponsoring this year’s Property Week Cup. Held at QPR’s Loftus Road stadium on Wednesday 15 May, the full-day football tournament will raise money for the Bobby Moore Fund.

The event will see 16 teams from the real estate industry vie to win the prestigious Property Week Cup and Plate trophies.

The tournament was set up in 1966 when a group of surveyors were inspired by England’s World Cup victory. This will be the third year Porterfield PR has supported the event which in 2018 raised an impressive £10,000 for the Bobby Moore Fund which raises money to help combat bowel cancer.

The fund was established in 1993 by Stephanie Moore MBE in memory of her late husband and footballing legend, Sir Bobby Moore CBE. The 1966 team captain died of bowel cancer at the age of just 51 and every day in the UK 40 lives are lost to the disease. The Bobby Moore Cup offers the real estate sector an opportunity to raise much-needed funds to ensure the fight against cancer continues.

Come along and show your support. Contact Ian@porterfield.co.uk for more information.
