Exciting hospitality brand 202 Kitchen is to open its first restaurant this summer, a 6,000 eatery at Spinningfields, Manchester and has launched a UK-wide search for sites in regional cities.
Advised by KLM Retail, 202 Kitchen is looking for minimum 3,000 sq ft stores in key regional locations, to meet demand from an incredibly fast growing and wide-ranging customer base.
Oli Marcroft of KLM comments, “In addition to Spinningfields, we have also secured sites in Birmingham and Newcastle and are in active discussions on sites in Cardiff, Edinburgh, Leedsand Essex. 202 Restaurant’s customer base includes a fashionable 18-40s crowd, as well as families with children, office and corporate customers.
“Their leading social media marketing – over 50,000 followers on Instagram – and collaborations with Pretty Little Thing, Misguided, Misspap and Oh Polly – have stepped up the brand’s profile and created a high level of demand. The brand’s vision is to secure 10 UK stores, before growing internationally.”
202 Kitchen has grown over the last two years from pop up sites in Manchester and Birmingham, offering a completely new vibrant and trending experience, specialising in street food dining with an exciting cocktail menu. The design and atmosphere of its sites, plus the launch of vegan boxes created by celebrity chefs, has continued to widen the brand’s appeal.
