Duke Street Property, advised by Hanover Green Retail, has agreed a new letting at 105 Wigmore Street, London W1, formerly the site of a car showroom.
Until will open its third location in London, bringing to Duke Street Property’s portfolio a world class holistic hub that has all health and wellness needs covered under one roof.
The new hub comprising 8,500 sq ft, is scheduled to open in September. Until’s Wigmore Street location signals a move into more traditional healthcare and will feature cutting edge treatment and consultation rooms for physios through to dental and medical consultants, a state-of-the-art gym for personal trainers and a coworking space for members to run their business from.
Matt Hyland, principal at Hanover Green Retail, said: “We have been working with Duke Street Property for several years, introducing new retail and food uses to the neighbourhood. The lifestyle and wellness sector is particularly buoyant in Central London and with Until we have secured a best in class addition to the tenant mix.”
Tim Reade, property director at Duke Street Property, said: “We are thrilled that Until has chosen 105 Wigmore Street for their flagship centre and they will be a great addition to the Duke Street neighbourhood. We are looking for businesses that like to do things differently. Not only does Until speak to the heritage of Marylebone but they also offer a sense of belonging and wellness that resonates with our vision for the neighbourhood. They will be a valuable amenity for our customers and will also attract new visitors to the area.”
James Townsend, head of real estate at Until, said: “We’re extremely excited to be launching Until’s third site at 105 Wigmore Street, following the success of our sites in Soho and Liverpool Street. Our business enables landlords to lead the charge from an ESG and wellness perspective. We have a desire to take prime ground-floor spaces but can also work with underutilised and less desirable lower-ground floors and basements – transforming them into energised and versatile ‘wellcare’ (healthcare and wellness) meccas.”
Until co-founder, Vishal Amin, said: “Until offers a unique amenity – not only for the tenants of the building or the estate, but the community surrounding it. It’s exciting that Duke Street has chosen us to be a part of such a prestigious neighbourhood. This site represents a small step in delivering a cross-city model for both our members and the guests they serve, but critically a step further into traditional healthcare.”
Until are also looking to expand their portfolio both within the UK and internationally, aiming to launch 40 clubs in over five cities within four years.
They are actively seeking further London locations in Southbank, Victoria and Kings Cross.
