February 21, 2025

Tenpin, one of the UK’s leading bowling and entertainment providers, is bringing a brand-new entertainment centre to Redditch’s Kingfisher Shopping Centre this summer. Located in the heart of Redditch, the venue will bring an exciting new experience for families and friends.

The new facility, which will take the place of the former B&M and Wilko stores on the lower retail floor of the shopping centre, will offer 22 bowling lanes. Visitors will also be able to enjoy three escape rooms by award-winning Houdini’s – Space Break, Captain Blackhearts Curse and The Lost Pharaoh – In The Valley of the Kings. There will also be a futuristic 4D laser tag arena, karaoke rooms, AR interactive darts and pool tables to enjoy.

A 140-seat vibrant bar will also serve up an extensive range of beers, spirits, cocktails and food. Guests will also be able to watch a range of games on Sky Sports and TNT in the bar, providing something for everyone.

A spokesperson for Kingfisher Shopping Centre said: “Tenpin will further enhance our leisure offer at Kingfisher Shopping Centre, boosting the town’s appeal and providing exciting new opportunities for both residents and visitors.”

Sue Clews, Regional Manager at Tenpin, said: “We are excited to share that we are opening a new site in Redditch. This venue promises to provide guests with a range of activities for all ages and occasions, and we can’t wait to welcome the first customers through the doors.”

With over 40 years of experience in the bowling industry, Tenpin has expanded significantly and now operates over 1,300 lanes, attracting over 8.5 million customers to its 55 venues.

Creating over 30 jobs, Tenpin will be a tremendous boost to the local economy and a positive addition to Redditch.
