Watling Real Estate has secured a new letting to Babcock at Affinity, the high-quality office development on Solent Business Park in Whiteley, near Fareham in Hampshire.
The engineering and professional services company has taken 19,519 sq ft on a five-year lease with a three-year break.
The deal means Building 3000B (Affinity Two) is now fully let and forms part of the wider Affinity campus, which offers a total of around 100,000 sq ft across Affinity One and Affinity Two. Space remains available within Affinity One, providing flexible floorplates from approximately 3,300 sq ft upwards to suit a range of occupier requirements.
The two buildings have recently undergone a comprehensive refurbishment to bring them up to the highest office standards, with a strong focus on environmental performance, occupier wellbeing and operational efficiency. The properties feature newly refurbished receptions, new air-conditioning systems, fully accessible raised floors, suspended ceilings with modular LED lighting, new passenger lifts, as well as shower facilities and dedicated cycle storage.
Occupiers at Affinity also benefit from an attractive out-of-town business park environment and excellent on-site car parking, with an overall parking ratio of around 1:190 sq ft. The wider Solent Business Park offers a range of amenities including national retailers, food and beverage operators and a Tesco superstore, giving staff convenient access to everyday services.
