Mothercare signs up at Valley Retail Park, Croydon

Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP), on behalf of Scottish Widows Fund & Life Assurance Society, has signed up Mothercare at its 130,179 sq ft Valley Retail Park in Purley Way, Croydon.

The landlord has agreed a new 15-year lease with the mother and baby care brand for the 15,600 sq ft former JJB unit.

Edgerley Simpson Howe and Jones Lang LaSalle jointly advised SWIP. McMullen Wilson represented Mothercare.

Other retailers at the out-of-town Valley Retail Park include Boots, McDonalds, Next, Sports Direct, Carpetright and Dreams.
